Non-invasive vascular services are used to diagnose a wide variety of conditions and abnormalities of the circulatory system, including blood vessel blockages and aneurysms, and to locate specific areas for study. Our concern is to first and foremost diagnose your vascular condition efficiently and accurately, so we can then move on to treatment.
The advantage to non-invasive vascular procedures is that they often achieve results similar to those of more invasive tests, but do so without the use of needles or x-rays. There is little to no pain involved, and we offer you and your family more than 20 years of combined, specialized experience in non-invasive vascular techniques. As always, we pride ourselves on the delivery of quality care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
Our Non-invasive Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) and the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation for Echocardiographic Laboratories (ICAEL). All of our sonographers are nationally certified, and each of our 12 physicians is a board-certified vascular surgeon. We offer full service non-invasive vascular care, including carotid ultrasound, which allows us to evaluate any blockages or narrowing in the arteries leading to the brain, venous ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound to diagnose and evaluate abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), vein mapping for dialysis access and bypass grafts, and dialysis access. We also provide physiologic testing (blood pressure measurements) to evaluate for blockage in the arteries of the legs and the arms.
Our services include:
As part of our mission, we perform screening for peripheral vascular disease, or PVD, to the general public. This type of testing is quick (about 20 minutes), painless, and can diagnose blockages in the arteries and veins of the arms, legs, and neck, which could indicate an increased risk of stroke or heart disease.
